Moving to a new city also means flathunting. Unlike London, Berlin is known for its ‘cheap’ rents and beautiful and spacious flats. Finding the right one does take time though. Preferably nice location like Kreuzberg, old but renovated, high ceilings, wooden floors … oh and all for a reasonable price. You get the idea? I expect fun and frustration in the coming weeks.

After spending 4 months back at home I have moved to Berlin over the last couple of days. I applied for jobs 1-2 months ago, mainly focusing on jobs as concept & interaction designer. Despite ‘the crisis’ I did receive positive replies leading to interviews and eventually a couple of offers.

After talking to my family and friends and giving it enough thought, I accepted the offer as a concept developer at kud.am, a new online-agency. One of the main reasons I went for them is their different approach compared to existing new media agencies. I feel the time is right for me to start in such an exciting environment.
Work starts on Feb. 4th. We’ll see what the future brings. Wish me luck.

Woo. Finally managed to get this blog installed.  The idea is to write about anything that I find interesting to share. Right now that includes: my new job, berlin, music, movies, crazy nights out (not really), interesting stuff i come across on the web and much more. Categories and tags will hopefully help me to keep this place clean.

I won’t even try to promise how often I’ll be posting stuff. After all I am entering the professional world soon. Uhm.
